The Cerritos English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) includes the principal and staff members working in partnership with parents/guardians of English Learners.

The ELAC helps students increase language acquisition and develop English fluency through knowledge and discussions in:

• Creating educational opportunities for English Language Learners.
• Identifying and addressing the academic needs of English Learners.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of school programs for English Language Learners.
